Privacy Notice

How BEZ Studio handles account information, website data and ASOB account-safety checks.

Privacy first: BEZ Studio aims to collect only the information reasonably needed to operate accounts, downloads and account safety. Your date of birth is used during signup to check whether you are at least 13 and is not stored by BEZ Studio after that age check.
ASOB does not read or expose your password. Passwords are not used as an ASOB signal. BEZ Studio does not intentionally store, display, publish or make readable copies of your password. Password authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication.

1. Who this Privacy Notice applies to

This Privacy Notice applies to the BEZ Studio website, BEZ ID accounts, game-download features, support pages and related BEZ Studio services that link to this notice. It explains what information may be processed, why it is used, how account-safety systems such as ASOB work, and the choices available to users.

Some BEZ Studio features rely on third-party service providers, including Firebase Authentication and Cloudflare. Those providers may process technical information under their own terms and privacy notices when they provide services to BEZ Studio.

2. Information you provide when creating a BEZ ID

When you create a BEZ ID, you may provide a display name, email address, date of birth and password. The information is handled differently depending on its purpose:

You are responsible for providing truthful account information. If information appears inconsistent, duplicated, abusive or otherwise suspicious, account-safety checks may be triggered as described below.

3. Passwords and authentication

BEZ Studio uses Firebase Authentication for BEZ ID account creation, sign-in, email verification, password reset and related authentication functions. When you enter a password, it is passed through the authentication system so that Firebase can perform the requested account operation.

BEZ Studio does not use passwords for profiling, advertising, ASOB scoring or age checks. ASOB is not designed to inspect the text of a user's password, compare passwords between users, reveal passwords to BEZ Studio staff, or display passwords in account reports.

Users should never send their password to BEZ Studio support. Legitimate BEZ Studio support should not need your password to help with an account issue.

4. Email verification

New BEZ IDs are required to verify their email address before protected features such as game downloads may be used. Firebase sends the verification message to the email address entered during registration.

BEZ Studio may process whether an account is verified or unverified, the account's authentication state, and related timestamps or status information needed to operate account access and security. BEZ Studio does not need to read the contents of your email inbox to determine whether verification has been completed.

5. ASOB — Account Scanner of BEZ

ASOB (Account Scanner of BEZ) is BEZ Studio's account-integrity and safety system. Its purpose is to help protect BEZ Studio users, games, downloads and services from account abuse, fake or misleading registration information, repeated unverified account creation, ban evasion and other suspicious activity.

ASOB may use account and service information available to BEZ Studio to identify patterns that may require review or action. Depending on the ASOB features enabled at a particular time, this may include information such as:

ASOB may flag an account for review, require additional verification where available, limit access to protected features, support account cleanup, or contribute to an account restriction or suspension under the BEZ Studio Terms of Service.

6. What ASOB does not inspect

ASOB is designed around account-integrity signals, not private-content surveillance. Unless BEZ Studio clearly introduces a new feature and updates its disclosures where required, ASOB is not designed to:

BEZ Studio may still receive ordinary technical information necessary to deliver and secure a website, such as network-request information processed by hosting or security providers. That is different from ASOB secretly accessing private files or passwords.

7. ASOB and age information

BEZ Studio requires users to provide their real date of birth during signup and to meet the minimum age requirement. ASOB may help identify patterns that suggest age information has been misused or that account requirements are being bypassed.

ASOB is not a government identity-verification service and cannot guarantee that a person's stated age or identity is genuine. An automated flag is not proof that a user lied about their age. Account-safety systems can make mistakes, and BEZ Studio may review available information before taking action where appropriate.

8. Unverified and inactive accounts

Accounts that remain unverified for an extended period may be restricted, expired or deleted. This helps reduce abandoned accounts, repeated fake registrations and misuse of BEZ Studio account systems.

The exact cleanup timing may change as BEZ Studio improves its systems. BEZ Studio does not promise that an unverified account will remain available forever. Where practical, users should verify their account promptly after registration.

9. Website and technical information

When you use the BEZ Studio website, hosting, security and authentication providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. Depending on the provider and feature, this can include IP address, browser or device type, request time, pages or resources requested, security events, error information and similar connection metadata.

This type of information may be used for website delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, service security, rate limiting, fraud detection and protecting BEZ Studio infrastructure.

10. Game downloads and your local library

BEZ Studio may use browser storage to remember games you downloaded through the site and show them in your BEZ Studio library on that browser. The current local library can include information such as a game's title, game identifier, last-download time and download count.

This local library information is stored in the browser on your device rather than as a full cloud game-history database. Clearing your browser's site data may remove this local history.

11. Cookies and browser storage

BEZ Studio and its authentication providers may use cookies, local storage, session storage or similar browser technologies to keep users signed in, remember account state, support verification flows, store a local game library and protect the service.

BEZ Studio does not currently use the website for behavioral advertising or third-party advertising profiles. If this materially changes, BEZ Studio will update its privacy disclosures where required.

12. Why BEZ Studio uses information

BEZ Studio may use information described in this notice to:

13. Information sharing

BEZ Studio does not currently sell personal information to advertisers. Information may be shared or processed only where reasonably necessary for operating and protecting the service, including with service providers that perform hosting, authentication, email-verification, security or infrastructure functions.

BEZ Studio may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to a lawful request, protect users or the public, investigate serious abuse, protect BEZ Studio's rights or security, or respond to an emergency where disclosure is permitted by law.

14. Service providers

BEZ Studio currently relies on third-party infrastructure for parts of the service. This includes Firebase Authentication for account authentication and Cloudflare for website delivery, hosting and related infrastructure/security functions.

These providers may process information according to their own privacy terms, security practices and legal obligations. BEZ Studio does not control every technical log or retention period maintained independently by a service provider.

15. International processing

BEZ Studio's service providers may operate infrastructure in more than one country. As a result, information may be processed or transmitted outside the country where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international data transfers, the relevant provider or data controller may use legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

16. Data retention

BEZ Studio aims to keep account information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including maintaining an active BEZ ID, enforcing account rules, handling security incidents, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations.

Verified account information may remain until the account is deleted or until retention is no longer necessary. Unverified or abandoned accounts may be deleted earlier as part of ASOB or other account-cleanup processes. Security or abuse records may sometimes be retained longer where reasonably necessary to prevent repeated abuse or protect the service.

Browser-based library information remains on the device until the user, browser or website clears it.

17. Account deletion

Users can use the available account-deletion process to request or perform deletion of their BEZ ID where supported. Deleting an account may remove or disable access to account information held through the authentication system.

Some limited records may need to be retained where required by law, necessary for security, needed to prevent abuse, or required to resolve disputes. Local browser data may need to be cleared separately from the user's browser.

18. Children and younger users

BEZ Studio accounts are not intended for children under 13. Users must provide truthful age information during registration. If BEZ Studio reasonably believes an account belongs to someone who does not meet the minimum age requirement, the account may be restricted or deleted.

Depending on where a user lives, additional parent or guardian consent rules may apply to minors even when they are 13 or older. Users are responsible for obtaining any permission required by applicable law.

19. Security

BEZ Studio uses reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the size and nature of the service. These measures include HTTPS delivery, third-party authentication infrastructure, email verification, account-access controls and account-safety checks.

No website or online service can guarantee perfect security. Users should use a unique password, protect access to their email account, avoid sharing login details, and contact BEZ Studio if they believe their BEZ ID has been compromised.

20. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights relating to your personal information. These can include rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or information about how personal information is used.

South African users may have rights under applicable privacy law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Other jurisdictions may provide similar or additional rights. Rights can be subject to legal exceptions and identity-verification requirements.

Privacy and account-data requests can be submitted through the official BEZ Studio Contact page. BEZ Studio may need enough information to verify that a requester is entitled to make a request relating to the account.

21. Automated account-safety decisions

ASOB may use automated checks to identify suspicious patterns. A flag may cause an account to be reviewed, temporarily restricted, asked for additional verification or handled under BEZ Studio's Terms.

Automated systems are not perfect. A flag does not automatically mean that a user has done something wrong. Where reasonably available, a user who believes an account restriction was made in error may contact BEZ Studio support for review.

22. Changes to ASOB

ASOB may change as BEZ Studio develops new safety features. Individual checks may be introduced, improved, disabled or replaced over time. BEZ Studio may also adjust what security signals are used as abuse patterns change.

If a future ASOB change materially changes the categories of personal information BEZ Studio processes or the purposes for which information is used, BEZ Studio will update this Privacy Notice or provide another notice where required by law.

23. Changes to this Privacy Notice

BEZ Studio may update this Privacy Notice when the service, account features, legal requirements or security systems change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised notice is published.

Material changes may also be highlighted through the website or another reasonable notice where appropriate.

24. Contact

For privacy questions, account-data requests, security concerns or questions about ASOB, use the official Contact page or the support address published by BEZ Studio.

Please do not include your password in any support or privacy request.
